Vishakh Kumar. Mechanical engineer working across fire engineering, CFD and electronics. grokkingstuff is where the reference notes, calculators and bench logs from that work end up once they are tidy enough to publish.
The wiki is a published subset of an org-roam notes tree; the calculators are static pages with no backend; the blog is where the longer write-ups go. Corrections and questions are welcome by email.
Nothing that isn't dimensioned, labeled, or bordered gets a place on the page.
Why Emacs / org-publish and not a static-site generator
No node_modules, no config DSL, no plugin ecosystem to keep patched. The whole pipeline is publish.el — under 200 lines, readable in one sitting, and every quirk (sidenote rewriting, relative nav hrefs) is a plain Elisp function you can read top to bottom.
